Important changes are being made to early childhood education and care through the introduction of the new
National Quality Framework.
The Framework incorporates a National Quality Standard which focuses on improving of the quality of care children receive in critical areas of education, health, and safety. The new system combines new Standards in seven quality areas with a rating system to help inform families about the quality of a service and to assist choice.
